Nella F. Harris - Associate

Nella Harris currently acts as an Associate with Samuels & Company, Inc.  In this capacity, Ms. Harris specializes in pursuing of specialty retailers and anchor tenants, along with reporting to property owners for an exclusive brokerage representation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Harris served for eight years as Leasing Manager for Kimco Developers, Inc., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kimco Realty Corporation (KIM), a publicly-traded REIT and the largest shopping center owner in the world.  Ms. Harris was responsible for leasing, marketing, and selling ground up developments and out parcels in Arizona, Nevada, and Florida.  In this capacity, she was involved in the direct leasing activity as well as managing third party brokers on behalf of Kimco.  Ms. Harris developed an affinity for soliciting unique retailers via cold and warm calling, email blasts, researching trade magazines and newspapers. These marketing techniques resulted in a significant increase in revenue for the properties.  Prior to her experience at Kimco, Ms. Harris was at Kornwasser Friedman Shopping Center Properties, The Price REIT, and Kimco Realty Corporation for seven years as a Leasing Assistant/Executive Assistant, working on Price Club anchored shopping centers.  Previously, Ms. Harris has worked at Riley Pearlman Company, Janss Corporation (Third Street Promenade), and Festival Companies (Mark Schurgin).
